Wild Goose Vineyards & Winery 2018 Riesling

This Riesling from British Columbia's Okanagan Valley is lively with acidity and only enough sweetness to deliver a wine nicely balanced for sipping, but bright enough to be very food versatile. It offers zippy aromas of lemon, lime, nectarine, white flowers, light oily notes typical of the varietal and just a hint of white pepper. There's more citrus on the palate, led by pink grapefruit with notes of orange, peach skin and a finish alluding to lime. - Reviewed by Gary Hayes
