Whitman Hill Winery 2020 Cabernet Franc

This Yakima Valley Cabernet Franc shows some nice peppery character of the varietal. On the palate, forward flavors of sauced red and black fruit are met by notes of dried chili pepper with earthy hints of cocoa emerging on the finish. On the nose, aromas of powdered peppery spice mix with notes of sage, gamey notes of leather and sweet tobacco that wrap around aromas of rich black fruit.
