Bold aromas of smoky ground espresso mixes with fig and dark jammy fruit along with notes of pipe tobacco, black peppercorn and a touch of oregano. Flavors of black cherry and plum are nicely balanced with earthy notes of violet, baking spices and a hint of red bell pepper, before trailing to an elegant finish with notes of gravelly minerality. - Reviewed by Gary Hayes
