Vizcaya Winery 2017 Tempranillo

This Washington State Tempranillo shows a medium garnet in color as you would expect from an aged red. It lands on the palate with a nice balance of earth and fruit, showing some slightly tart cherry character that mixes with notes of dried herbs and an earthy minerality and a dash of black pepper. On the nose, it presents gripping aromas of green peppercorn, cedar and cigar box that envelop notes of dried black fruit.
