Three of Cups Winery 2018 L'ermite Grenache

Woodinville Washington's Three of Cups Winery used grapes from Columbia Valley and barrel aged the wine for two years for this nicely structured, light and bright style Grenache. Aromas are surprisingly complex and inviting, led by dried strawberry with notes of saddle leather, spiced orange peel and hints of cigar box and sweet dried herbs. On the palate, bright red fruit alluding to cran-raspberry mixes with spice before an earthy finish hinting at cocoa and clay pot with lingering acidity.
