Silvan Ridge Winery 2016 Pinot Gris

This is a nicely structured Pinot Gris in a classic dry and minerally style, balanced enough for sipping, but surely a great food wine too. The nose presents ample fruit with hints at fresh apple, pear, peach and mango mixing with pretty floral notes. It's bright on the palate hinting at green apple, grapefruit and lime with a lingering finish showing notes of mineral, melon rind and a touch of salinity. - Reviewed by Gary Hayes
