Seven Bridges Winery 2015 Cabernet Franc Reserve

Portland's Seven Bridges Winery uses fruit from Walla Walla's Seven Hills Vineyard in this fruit forward Cabernet Franc showing some nice complexity and spice. On the nose, dark jammy fruit is complex with notes of Allspice, sweet tobacco, black peppercorn and dried herbs. On the palate, flavors of dried cherry and bittersweet chocolate find a nice balance before fading to a finish hinting at black licorice. - Reviewed by Gary Hayes
