Schmidt Family Vineyards 2012 Malbec

This Southern Oregon Malbec is a beautiful crimson, full-bodied wine with enticing aromas of dark jammy fruit and cigar box. Flavors open with tart red plumb and raspberry, then finishing dry with tea and a hint of pepper. A solid streak of acidity would make this a nice pairing with fatty red meats or duck.
