Reustle Prayer Rock Vineyards 2018 Gruner Veltliner Estate Selection Hefeabzug
Published: January 15, 2021
Stephen Reustle was the first winemaker in the Northwest to commercially produce the popular Austrian grape Gruner Veltliner and he now crafts several different distinct bottlings each year. The Hefeabzug designation indicates this wine was aged on the lees. On the nose, you'll find lime, green apple, minerals, subtle florals and a hint of fresh green herbs. On the palate, it's brightly balanced with upfront flavors of Meyer lemon that hold on through a lingering midpalate before revealing a hint of citrus oil and peach pit acidity.
