Recline Ridge Vineyards & Winery 2018 Kerner
Published: September 10, 2020
Kerner is an aromatic white wine varietal related to Riesling that was developed in Germany in 1929 to be an early ripening grape for use in cool climate growing regions. This wine from British Columbia's Shuswap region offers aromas of green apple and lime with notes of citrus blossom, lemon curd, and fresh green herbs. On the palate, bright fruit flavors are deliciously balanced with brisk acidity that alludes to pineapple, tangerine and Meyer lemon. - Reviewed by Gary Hayes
