Quiddity Wines 2019 ASSIDUITY Counoise

Quiddity Wines 2019 ASSIDUITY Counoise

The Counoise grape is one of the lesser-used blending grapes in French Chsteauneuf-du-Pape and there is a limited amount planted in Washington that is only occasionally seen as a stand-alone varietal. This one comes from Rattlesnake Hills and this medium bodied offering shows characteristic acidity and softness on the palate. On the palate it delivers juicy-tart flavors of cherry, blueberry and plum skin with moderate tannins and a bright, earthy finish hinting at clay pot and hibiscus tea.
