Quiddity Wines 2018 AMORE

AMORE is a red Rhone style blend including 62% Syrah, 23% Mourvedre and 15% Grenache from Woodinville Washington's Quiddity Wines. On the nose, dried cherry and baking spice find a nice balance with hints of lavender, dried herbs and smoky bacon fat joining the mix. It delivers a velvety smooth mouth feel with flavors of blackberry and spice upfront, dark chocolate notes emerging on the mid-palate and an earthy layer of clay pot minerality with peppery spice carrying through a polished finish.
