Puffin Wines 2020 Pinot Gris

As the former winemaker at King Estate, Ray Walsh, knows his way around Pinot Gris and he collaborated with the Cannon Beach Wine Shack for this offering. On the palate, it's fruity and dry in style with balanced flavors of lime and orange zest upfront, tart apricot on the mid-palate with refreshing salinity and a lingering minerality on the finish. It's enticing on the nose with fruity aromas of peach and cantaloupe mixed with cream and floral notes of honeysuckle. Queue up the scallops, halibut or crab for this one.
