Port Townsend Vineyards 2019 Mourvedre

Port Townsend Vineyards 2019 Mourvedre

This medium-bodied Mourvedre from Washington's Rattlesnake Hills delivers flavors of dark berries and black cherry that burst with acidity and notes of peppery spice while nicely integrated tannins deliver a velvety rich mouthfeel and bright acidity persists through the finish hinting at a dash of orange zest. On the nose, aromas of dark, jammy fruit and Allspice are joined by abundant herbal and floral notes alluding to black peppercorn, lavender, sweet tobacco and dried herbs.
