Port Townsend Vineyards 2016 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon
Published: September 24, 2019
Washington's Port Townsend Vineyards used Oregon grapes for this Cabernet Sauvignon that invites you in with expressive dark fruit aromas alluding to blackberry jam and complex edges of cedar, black peppercorn, sweet tobacco, baking spice and red bell pepper. On the palate, flavors of black plum and Boysenberry mix with notes of Allspice and a wonderfully integrated earthiness reminiscent of cocoa, violet and graphite. - Reviewed by Gary Hayes
