Pfeiffer Winery 2020 Blue Dot Reserve Pinot Noir

This Willamette Valley Pinot Noir makes big promises at first whiff and it delivers on the palate. Lovely and complex aromatics nicely blend notes of dried cherry, smoky bacon fat, dried herbs and floral potpourri with baking spice. On the palate, flavors of raspberry and cherry show a nice richness, a bright acidic balance and a silky mouthfeel that leads to hints of toasty oak, cola, cinnamon, a drop of blood orange and finally a finish of dusty earth.
