On the palate, flavors of black cherry and brambly blackberry show ample acidity upfront with nicely structured tannins carrying notes of cocoa, mint and clay dust through a polished finish. A very expressive nose shows complex aromas of ripe dark fruit, cedar, black peppercorn, baking spice and dried herbs.
