This Wahluke Slope Syrah shows nice layering and length, opening with beautifully rounded flavors of rich fruit that coat the palate with a nice zip of acidity alluding to blueberries before a lightly textured mid-palate emerges hinting at cocoa and a dusting of espresso. It presents bold aromas of rich dark fruit and spice with notes of sweet tobacco and hints of green peppercorn and black licorice.
