Methven Family Vineyards 2020 Chardonnay

This Willamette Valley Chardonnay spent 10 months in French oak barrels, though 80% was neutral oak. The result is a fruity and zesty style with some restrained creamy notes for complexity. On the nose, aromas allude to white peaches and cream with hints of lemon zest, pie crust and almond paste. On the palate, it delivers bright notes of Meyer lemon, lemon curd and melon rind with acidity lingering through the finish.
