Longship Cellars 2014 Ginger Man Syrah

This Walla Walla Valley Syrah includes 8% Grenache and offers enticing aromas of dark berries, sweet tobacco, smoke, chocolate, Allspice and black peppercorn. There's a deft balance on the palate with blackberry counterpointed with tart plum skin along with notes of baking spices and earthy hints of dried leaves and graphite emerging on a nicely structured finish. - Reviewed by Gary Hayes
