LaVelle Vineyards 2016 Barrel Fermented Riesling

This off-dry Riesling showcases bright fruit and finely structured acidity making it a sure bet for pairing with many dishes ranging from seafood to spicy Asian cuisine. On the nose are aromas of lime, green apple and nectarine with light floral notes of honeysuckle and just a touch of typical Riesling petrol. The flavor of green apple continues on the palate with notes of tangerine, tart apricot and a subtle minerality showing on a bright, clean finish. - Reviewed by Gary Hayes
