Kramer Vineyards 2015 Estate Pinot Gris

This Oregon Pinot Gris is done in the dry Italian style of Pinot Grigio emphasizing bright citrus flavors and mineral notes. On the nose you'll find crisp yellow apple, melon, almond paste and a touch of mint. On the palate, bright flavors of gooseberry, green apple, lemon and quinine rise quickly to a crescendo, linger and then slowly fade to expose mineral notes reminiscent of crushed gravel. This would be a great wine for delicate seafood and cream or butter sauced dishes.
