Jones of Washington 2022 Chardonnay

This bargain-priced Chardonnay shows well with extended lees aging adding depth and interest while nicely structured fruit and acids bring length and balance. On the palate, it opens with flavors alluding to poached pear with a dusting of cinnamon, then moving toward notes of melon rind before a finish showing hints of minerality and lime peel. It presents lovely floral and fruit aromas of pear, orange blossom, lemon curd and a dash of baking spice.
