Hamilton Russell Oregon 2019 Maple Grove Chardonnay

This light and zesty style Chardonnay is the Oregon project of South Africa's Hamilton Russell Vineyards who has a 40-year history crafting the wines of Burgundy. It presents enticing aromas of apple pie with a dusting of baking spices and pretty florals. On the palate, the fruit takes center stage over oak aging with bright acidity alluding to Meyer lemon with hints of pineapple and apricot that lead to a lingering finish with emerging notes of baking spice and a lovely chalky salinity.
