This large production Merlot will be a hit for those seeking a fruit forward wine that shows some real finesse. Aromas are boldly incensed with prominent notes of Allspice and a hint of bay leaf that mix nicely with jammy black fruit. On the palate, rounded flavors of black cherry are met on the mid-palate with textured notes of cocoa that carry to a nice finish with hints of finely ground espresso and a clay pot minerality.
