Grizzly Peak Winery 2015 Syrah

This Southern Oregon Syrah from Medford's Grizzly Peak Winery is a medium-plus purple with forward and complex aromas showing notes of smoky bacon, blackberry jam, sweet tobacco, clove and black peppercorn. On the palate, flavors of juicy dark berries are balanced with espresso and prominent herbal notes on the midpalate leading to a dry finish with a hint of graphite and uplifting acidity alluding to sour cherry.
