Published: November 15, 2020
Forbidden Fruit Winery 2017 Dead End Game Over
British Columbia's Forbidden Fruit Winery produces the Dead End Cellars series of wines and Game Over is a blend of 80% Tannat and 20% Malbec. The intriguing nose alludes to ripe grilled plum with notes of black pepper, leather and woody-herbal aromas of Eucalyptus and bay leaf. Tannats are known for their tannic grip and this one has it, nicely balancing flavors of black cherry, plum skin and violet with hints of dusty earth and dried herbs.
