Enrico Winery 2018 Tempest Ortega

Ortega is a white wine varietal crossbred in 1948 to be early ripening and cool-climate hearty and this one comes from Enrico Winery in Vancouver Island, British Columbia. It offers aromas of green apple, lime, tomato leaf and hints of fresh green herbs and floral apple blossom. On the palate, it's off dry, opening with bright flavors of apricot and peach before a finish revealing notes of orange oil and honey. - Reviewed by Gary Hayes
