This Bordeaux-style red blend from Applegate Valley Southern Oregon includes 58% Cabernet Sauvignon, 28% Merlot and 14% Cabernet Franc. On the nose, it presents aromas of dark berry jam with notes of cedar, leather, black pepper and dried herbs. On the palate, it delivers a juicy mouthfeel with flavors of black cherry and plum skin balanced by grippy tannins on the mid-palate carrying minerally notes of graphite that give way to a finish hinting at espresso-dusted dark chocolate.
