This Horse Heaven Hills Sangiovese draws a lovely balance between a rustic style Italian red with a more fruit forward Washington State Sangiovese. It presents intriguing savory aromas including sun-dried tomato, floral dried herbs and a splash of balsamic with hints of spice. On the palate, it delivers flavors of dried cherry with a dash of clove spice leading to a lightly-textured earthy finish hinting at a clay pot minerality.
