Clearwater Canyon Cellars 2018 Estate Syrah

This Syrah from Lewiston Idaho's Clearwater Canyon Cellars presents bold aromas and a beautiful balance of fruit and earth. The nose shows prominent florals alluding to lavender with complex aromas of green peppercorn, Allspice and sweet tobacco that mingle with notes of a rich plum sauce. On the palate, flavors of black cherry and Boysenberry are nicely balanced with notes of chocolate, a dusting of espresso, a graphite minerality and spice that linger through an extensive finish.
