Chemeketa Cellars 2019 Gamay Noir

This is a beautifully structured Gamay offering intriguing herbal-floral aromas alluding to black tea, thyme, pine pitch and green peppercorn wrapping around hints of ripe plum. On the palate, tart but balanced flavors of cherry and huckleberry mix with notes of brambly rhubarb, earth and mineral emerging on the mid-palate; and a bright-herbal finish hinting at hibiscus.
