Chandler Reach Estate 2019 Merlot

This is a lovely, layered Merlot that delivers a luxurious silky mouthfeel, rich fruit alluding to a sauce of lightly spiced dark berries, a mid-palate bringing chocolate to the party and a finish that slowly tails toward an earthy minerality with persistent acidity and lingering spice. Aromas are enticing with jammy dark fruit, cedar and new leather providing the foundation with some herbal-floral notes and a whiff of baking spice.
