Chaberton Estate Winery 2019 Meritage

This Bordeaux style blend includes 50% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Franc, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon and smaller amounts of Petit Verdot and Malbec. It presents aromas of jammy black fruit with bold notes of coffee, bay leaf and hints of pipe tobacco, black peppercorn and vanilla. On the palate, it delivers bright flavors of dark berries that are met on the mid-palate with earthy notes of graphite leading to a finish showing a hint of smoldering embers.
