Brian Carter Cellars 2020 One Cabernet Sauvignon

This Cabernet Sauvignon is from Brian Carter's One Series intended to feature a single varietal from one of the Washington's best vineyards, in this case E&E Shaw Vineyard on Red Mountain. Aromas are enticing, rich and complex with black fruit, cedar, baking spice, black pepper, pipe tobacco and dried herbs. On the palate, fruit shows a lovely burst of acidity alluding to flavors of black cherry and Boysenberry that are met on the mid-palate by a growing earthiness hinting at clay dust with a dusting of espresso and a lingering finish showing minerally notes of graphite.
