Brian Carter Cellars 2020 Corrida

This Rioja inspired red wine is a blend of 66% Tempranillo, 18% Graciano and 8% Garnacha with splashes of Monastrell and Cabernet Sauvignon. It was aged 22 months in a combination of French and American oak that included 35% new barrels. It delivers flavors of dried black fruit and baking spice that meet growing notes of chocolate on the mid-palate, lingering to the finish that shows a dash of cinnamon. It presents a lovely mix of aromas alluding to rich notes of black plum, cedar, Allspice, green peppercorn and cigar box.
