This Rattlesnake Hills Merlot delivers upfront flavors alluding to blueberry and black cherry with a nice balance of acidity, joined on the mid-palate with growing hints of chocolate that gain intensity through the finish showing just a touch of earthy minerality and persistent acids and spice. On the nose, bold aromas of dark fruit mix with notes of cedar, green peppercorn and baking spice.
