Blakeslee Vineyard Estate 2014 BVE Club Elite Pinot Noir

Blakeslee Vineyard Estate 2014 BVE Club Elite Pinot Noir

On the nose, this Chehalem Mountains Pinot Noir produced for wine club members shows red berries upfront, mixing with earthy aromas and spicy notes. You'll find raspberry, cigar box, red licorice, a touch of clove-spiced orange peel and just a hint of tarragon. On the palate, it's wonderfully structured with bright acidity, showing cranberry and pie cherries, forest floor, a minerality reminiscent of slate and a zesty finish with notes of Allspice. This would be a nice pairing with roasted poultry, salmon or a seared duck breast. - Reviewed by Gary Hayes
