Belle Fiore Winery 2017 Belle Arte Teroldego

Belle Fiore Winery 2017 Belle Arte Teroldego

This lesser-known red wine grape varietal grown mostly in the mountainous region of Northern Italy is known for its deep color and fruity character. This Southern Oregon version from Ashland Oregon's Belle Fiore Winery is an opaque deep purple. Aromas get your attention alluding to a load of dried dark fruit, leather and cured meat with hints of white pepper and bay leaf. On the palate, it's rich with flavors of a dark berry sauce balanced by spice, before a mid-palate peaks with a tart acidity and grippy tannins lead to a dry finish with prominent notes of earthy white pepper and graphite.
