Prosser, Washington's Alexandria Nicole Cellars delivers a sure fire food wine or a crisp summer sipper with their 2018 a2 Sauvignon Blanc. On the nose, it's simply lovely with intriguing aromas of peach, pear and citrus zest, a nice dose of floral and hints of fresh sweet herbs, tomato leaf and chopped ginger. On the palate, it delivers bright flavors of lime and grapefruit that fade to reveal an earthy minerality with a touch of saline on the finish. - Reviewed by Gary Hayes
