Weisinger Family Winery 2015 Viognier

This Viognier hits that wonderful balance of presenting stone fruit restrained by a solid backbone of acidity and complex secondary notes. Lemon and lime aromas lead with notes of lightly floral rose, vanilla and a hint of tropical fruit. On the palate, it has a delightfully bright attack of citrus zest, a bold mid-palate of tart apricot that lingers beautifully before fading to secondary notes of mineral, lime and a touch of white pepper. - Reviewed by Gary Hayes
