Silkscarf Winery 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon

This Cabernet Sauvignon from British Columbia's Okanagan Valley displays plenty of dark fruit, but balances it deftly with earthy and savory influences. It offers aromas of ripe black plum woven with notes of cedar, pipe tobacco, bell pepper and dried herbs. On the palate, it displays fruit alluding to black cherry and blackberry with notes of violet, cocoa and a dry finish revealing hints of graphite. - Reviewed by Gary Hayes
