Longship Cellars 2015 Wise Man Cabernet Sauvignon

This is a great example of a big, complex Northwest Cabernet Sauvignon. On the nose, complex aromas lead with dark berry jam and cedar, but there are also notes of baking spices and hints of red bell pepper and dried herbs. On the palate, juicy flavors alluding to Boysenberry and black plum are upfront and are met by earthy notes of cocoa and clove spice before a dry finish revealing a touch of black tea. - Reviewed by Gary Hayes
