Gard Vintners 2013 Vaucluse Red Wine

This red blend includes 76% Syrah, 21% Grenache and 3% Viognier. On the nose it presents loads of smoky Italian plum with brown spice and anise. On the palate, it delivers rounded flavors of ripe black currant and blueberry, prominent soft clove spice on the mid-palate and an enduring finish with vanilla and notes of sweet tobacco. Tannins are well integrated. Pair this with lamb, a grilled steak or pork chops.
