Dead End Cellars 2013 Game Over

Forbidden Fruit Winery is best known for its fruit wines, but the British Columbia winery has also introduced a few wines under the Dead End Cellars label. This one is a red blend featuring organically grown Tannat and Malbec grapes. It's full-bodied and an opaque deep crimson in color, offering up aromas of ripe Italian plum and fig with notes of violet and wet gravel. Flavors straddle red plum, black cherry and raspberry with tea and some sweet tobacco notes. The well-rounded mouth feel reflects nicely integrated tannins.
